Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Ofer has led technical development at Syntegra since its inception, where he has pioneered the use of generative language models to create synthetic healthcare data. He holds extensive experience in leading complex, state-of-the-art machine learning software projects across a variety of industries, including healthcare, advertising and financial services. Prior to Syntegra, he served as Vice President of Data Science at Helix, a population genomics company. He has also led data science and engineering teams at LendUp, Hortonworks and Yahoo!. Ofer has published several papers and is the author of the book, “Practical Data Science with Hadoop and Spark.”
